The Problem

Consulting parents on infant sleep issues is uncomfortable and challenging.

Causes of THE problem

Parents receive verbal assignments and need to writing them down on paper.

There no single efficient way to track improvement suggestions according to the consultant’s guidance.

As part of the process, parents document the baby’s sleep process, even in the middle of the night.

The consultant is not available for urgent phone calls (She’s in meetings throughout the day).

Emily Johnson, 29

As a first-time mom, I sought not just to get advice but also moral support. Unfortunately, the consultant was often unavailable when I needed reassurance, leaving me isolated and overwhelmed.

user RESEARCH challenges

How can the users document sleep with many variables most easily?

Users lacked the consultants' responses at frustrating moments, therefore:

user Research Insights

To investigate issues in infant sleep consultation, I surveyed 20 couples and 10 top sleep consultants, I analyzed their responses and identified 2 central problems:

01 – Parents seeking support

During the documentation process, parents faced difficulties and sought support, but the consultant was unavailable.

Solution

To strengthen their sense of guidance, I expanded the component of weekly tasks, making it quickly identifiable, including a detailed explanation in a video clip.

02 – Communication hurdles

Receiving important tips from the consultant via lengthy WhatsApp conversations, making it challenging to follow.

Solution

Users must confirm reading a tip before it moves to the “read tips” section. They can also save a tip as a favorite for future reference.
